Mobile Phone Recycling
Phones for Vans - Wanted Dead or Alive

An appeal with a difference
A unique offer to CfC from Mercedes UK and Dixons is converting mobile phones into new vehicles. Yes 4000 phones or the equivalent of £40,000= One new modified Mercedes Lorry which is urgently needed to help us help desperately needed Children, Orphanages and Schools across Eastern Europe.
It's hard to imagine small children lacking shoes, clothing and basic sanitation and having to beg for food in places where the temperature regularly plummets below -20C. Sadly it's a picture we see to frequently and urgently need your help to change these situations.
Phones for Vans, is working but more vehicles are needed to assist further communities with life improving solutions, transportation of resources and volunteers to places of need, including Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Kosovo, etc
Support includes;
- Christmas Shoe box appeal for Older people
- Medical supplies for hospitals and clinics
- Disability project support
- Resources for schools
- Humanitarian aid
- Building and developmental support
Needed: Basic medical supplies, Children's football shirts, Audio recording and copying equipment, Braille items and equipment for the blind and Visually Impaired, plus financial support to get it there. (Thank you British Airways for your support in Albania)
