Am I eligible to apply for a low cost computer?
Since 1994 Computers for Charities has saved organisations thousands of pounds from free impartial advice, assistance and low cost equipment. As a registered charity our remit is not selling but to aid the Voluntary sector, hence our services are only available too registered UK Charities, Voluntary organisations, Church groups, schools and educational establishments.
Whether your needs are for one or one hundred systems, Computers for Charities is here to help and advise. Plus all systems are provided VAT free, providing further cost savings!
If you need technical advice? please email or call, maybe you are unsure as to the reliability or capabilities of your exisiting equipment? or even the processes for setting up a new project be it a network system or Internet Cafe? We are here to help and where possible most services are provided without cost
What does the package include?
Our packages provide the total solution providing all the ingredients to get you up and running. Systems contain full hardware including base unit, monitor, keyboard, mouse, power cables and preinstalled software being; minimum of Windows XP Pro SP3 operating system, Office 2007 Basic containing Word, Excel, Outlook plus 12 months AVG antivirus software to provide complete protection

To finalise your order, all that is then required is payment by cheque or BAC. Orders are processed within 10 working days following receipt of payment including delivery by TNT couriers. (Please note prices exclude carriage) Inorder to assist you more fully, please advise us of your needs, what will the equipment be used for? What is the rough specification of equipment currently in use?
All equipment is fully tested prior to despatch and comes with a three month "return to base warranty" in the event of mechanical failure. (Please note: consumable items. i.e laptop batteries, etc are not covered)
We can assist with upgrades and offer project advice / assistance where possible. I.e planning and installation network systems, internet café / learning centre, etc.
