“Computers for Charities” as a WAMITAB exam Centre, proudly announces the launch of its latest initiative;
Level 1 Diploma in Recycling Activities (WEEE – Computer Refurbishment) (QCF) This 80 hour modular course covers practical and theory applications, providing an excellent starting point for higher education or skills for employment.
The diploma in accredited or unaccredited format is now available directly from “Computers for Charities” suited for use by schools, colleges, learning establishments and prisons. (Overseas access to be announced shortly)
Our "Computer refurbishment" course resulted from a direct request from HM Prison services dating back to 2004. Seeking new and relevant vocational courses to provide skills and learning given deteriorating literacy levels with 71% of offenders falling below acceptable literacy levels. (The course has provided excellent results)
